Yatin Karyekar (born 1 July 1966) is a veteran Indian actor in the Bollywood film industry. He was also part of long running television serial Shanti. He appeared in the role of Aurangzeb in popular Marathi serial Raja Shivchhatrapati.
He was earlier married to Iravati Harshe.
Yatin Karyekar is a well-known bollywood actor who started his acting career in Bollywood movies in early 80s. His first movie “Katha” was released in 1983, which was a big hit for him; he was appreciated big time for this movie. Yatin did “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” in the year 1988. After that he did so many movies and for his every movie, he was getting praised for his acting. Yatin’s every role is completely different each time. He takes the challenge of being different and shocked his huge fans. Yatin also made his appearance on Indian television with in 1993. He was a part of a long running daily soap “1994. His work in “Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan” in 2006 and “2013. He was appreciated a lot. In “Shanti” the daily soap, he worked with his beautiful ex-wife His ex-wife is also a treasure for Indian flim and TV industry. Iravati is maily a telly star, working for the industry for over a decade. Iravati is a class part of all good work in the industry. Her role as “Smriti Malhontra” in “Sanjivini” and in “K Street Pali Hill” was remarkable and always remembered. Yatin and Iravati did many works together before and after their divorce. Despite of always doing supportive roles, Yatin has made a huge fan following and was always loved and appreciated by the viewers and critics.
